I want to cover a shady wall quickly with an attractive creeper. Which one shall I choose?

I live in the South of England with chalky soil, topped with clay-like soil.

I want to cover a shady wall quickly with an attractive creeper. Which one shall I choose?
first of all buy some soil conditioner and dig it in to the plot where you will be planting, to try and help break up the clay,

i would go for clematis or honeysuckle for a shady wall.

once planted i would mulch with compost or chipped bark to keep in moisture and help condition the soil further also it will surpress the weeds. always use plenty of water in shady parts of the garden as they tend to dry out more than other parts.

hope this helps !!!
