We are buying a new manufactured home after a house fire. Do we need a creeper?

We/My parents had a fire last year %26amp; it has been nothing but problems. They are buying a new Manufactured home %26amp; the Company they are buying from just keep adding on $. They live in a Senior Community the lot size is 64X84 only trees on sides. It is completly cleared of all debree from fire it is slopped in front for home to be backed in. It is not on a hill or in a forrest! It just simply needs to be backed in the home is 32X52. They say we need a Creaper to move it in which is another $1000 00. We have talked to neighbors who live there %26amp; none of them have had to use a creaper! Does anyone have any info or knowledge on moving homes? HELP!!!

NO you don't. I was on a set crew for 3 years. The truck usually spots the house where it goes. The second half is usually pulled tight with rollers and a come-along. If there is a unique situation to your lot, they might need one, but they can get creative most times. I would want a good explination of why they had to have it.
Reply:I would find out if the home to delivered to a particular location should be placed in the correct location. Anything else doesn't sound legal. Check with you township Representative, code official

or building department. You need help from a legal official not a scam artist. I would double check your purchase contract for the fine print too!

Check the local "Consumer Affairs" office. (Use the Internet)
Reply:just say NO...they are try to rip people off saying they require things...when they dont...
